F.A.Q.

Q. What time on my wedding day will the DJ arrive?
A. Your DJ will arrive early on the day and be set up so when your dinner/speeches has finished he will be playing background music. Or if he has to set up in the room where the meal is being served then he will wait until your guests move out. Whereupon it will take 45 mins to have him ready for you.

Q. What about my 1st dances?
A. You will have been in contact with your DJ via email from the 1st stages of contact and you will have sent him your 1st 2 dances (as well as what songs you might want to hear and perhaps some you don’t want to hear?) Therefore he will have your songs with him. Once your guests are all ready, and more importantly, you are both ready you liaise with your DJ and when you are 100% ready you will give him a nod and he will announce “ladies and gentlemen please be upstanding for the bride and groom, Mrs and Mrs ??????”  Then you both walk on the floor to an amazing reception!

Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?
A. No. We don’t need a deposit as we have no intention of letting you down and we are sure you will be there!

Q. What songs will he play?
A. He will look round the room and gauge the age groups there and play wicked party classics all night. 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, wee bit of queen, Scottish ceilieh section, some songs for any children there? Some swing for Gran? Basically he can cover any era. And as the night goes on he will gradually turn up the volume till the bride has her shoes off and is standing on the dance floor grinning madly.

Q. Any chance of some karaoke?
A. Yes of course. We have done that at many weddings. We have the booklets out on the tables and singers are allowed up now and then, so it is not too much. We find having uncle tam giving “it laldy” to Elvis allows everyone to get their breaths back. This added service costs a few pounds more but please ask about it if you are interested?
